1. No Video Storage or Archiving
TWT Saves does not store, host, clone, or archive downloaded videos or media files on its servers. When you click download, video files are streamed directly from official Twitter/X content delivery networks (CDNs) to your browser or device storage.
2. Information We Process
Submitted URLs: When you paste a Twitter/X post link into our tool, that link is temporarily processed by our API solely to query the public media metadata. We do not correlate URLs with individual user identities.
Server Logs & Abuse Prevention: Like virtually all web servers, our infrastructure (Nginx / API Gateway) automatically logs standard web request metadata, including:
- IP address (used temporarily for rate limiting and DDoS defense)
- Browser user-agent string and operating system type
- HTTP request timestamp and response status code
These logs are used strictly for operational health, security, and abuse prevention. Log files are automatically rotated and purged on a regular schedule.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
TWT Saves does not use invasive tracking cookies. We may use your browser's local storage strictly to remember your preferred interface language.
4. Third-Party Services
When downloading a media file, your browser establishes a direct connection with Twitter/X servers (video.twimg.com). Your interaction with those CDN servers is governed by Twitter/X's respective privacy policies.
5. Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children.
